無戸籍。紙を一枚、役所に出されなかっただけで法律上存在しない人間となる。その結果、就職することはほぼ不可能で部屋も借りることができない。ほかにも病院にかかれば10割負担など、多くの弊害が発生する。美幸は、そんな無戸籍の人間だ。頼る人が誰もいない美幸は、元同僚の部屋を間借りして暮らしていたが、その元同僚に必死で貯めた100万円を持ち逃げされてしまう。身体を壊し、精神的にも追い詰められた美幸の願いは「この底辺から抜け出す方法が知りたい」。現代日本でも実在する「無戸籍者」の苦しみと救済を描いた、ヒューマンドラマ。【第2話を収録】
